Friday Night Notes

Welcome, Blosser Lane Friends and Families, to our Friday Notes!

Please note the following:

  • Families' students may not walk through the parking lot before or after school without an adult; they must be with an adult. 

  • Valentine's grams are on Sale in the office! They are $1.00, and you may send them to students and staff at Blosser.

  • BLES Families students will be taking their Climate Survey this week. 

  • BLES Families, Tuesday, January 27th, is an early release; dismissal is 1:20 pm

  • If your student is participating in the Science Fair, make sure to fill out the Intent to Participate form posted on Parent Square by January 31st

  • Join your student every morning from 7:40 to 7:55 for our morning mile on the Blacktop!

Please remind your student(s):

  • BLES families, Toys and makeup are not permitted at school. Please remind your students to keep these things at home

  • Blosser’s lost and found is located in the cafeteria. Please come and find your things. 

  • Do not drive in the bus lane during morning drop off

Mark your calendars for some upcoming events:

  • Wednesday, January 28th, Site Council Meeting 3:15 @ Blosser in Rm.24

  • Friday, January 30th, show your school spirit by wearing green and Gold!

  • Monday, February 2nd, 4th Grade Lunch on the Lawn  11:45

  • Friday, February 6th Valentines Family Dance at Blosser, 6-8 pm

  • President’s Long Weekend, No School Friday, February 13th, and Monday, February 16th.

Please remember school is open for drop-off at 7:40 a.m., no earlier. For safety in the morning, do not cut into the drop-off line or drive in the Bus Lane.  Please remember our Holly and Locust Street trail is open for students to walk to school.  We have a staff person at the end to help students cross the road and get safely to school!  The bell rings at 7:55 a.m. Gates around the campus will be closed at 8:15 a.m.; if you need to pick up a student during the school day, please ring the intercom at the far left front gate.  For safety in the afternoon, cars are not allowed in the parking lot after 2:40 p.m. until the 

Buses depart, and please note that parking is not permitted in the red zone.
