Welcome, Blosser Lane Friends and Families, to our Friday Notes!
Please note the following:
Monday, October 6th, through Friday, October 10th, is Parent-Teacher Conference Week. Make sure you have signed up for a time with your studentβs teacher. School will be minimum days with dismissal at 1:20 pm that entire week.
Monday, October 6th, Lunch on the Lawn for all 3rd-grade students and families! Come join your student at Blosser from 11:15-12:00 and enjoy lunch from our cafeteria with your student!
We welcome families to join their students every morning from 7:40-7:55 with our morning mile out on the Blacktop!
Please remind your student(s):
Wearing layers, mornings can be chilly
Blosserβs lost and found is located in the cafeteria
Parents, please remember the dress code for students is no spaghetti straps, flip flops, or shorts that expose the high thighs or bottoms of students when running, playing, or participating in PE. They will be asked to change.
Mark your calendars for some upcoming events:
Boo-Grams are on sale in the office before school, at brunch, and at lunch. Boo- Grams will be 1 dollar and will be handed out on Halloween!
Friday, October 10th, show your school spirit by wearing green and gold!
Sunday, October 12th, is our annual Color Run! Come join us at the WHS Football Field.
Please remember school is open for drop-off at 7:40 a.m., no earlier. For safety in the morning, do not cut into the drop-off line or drive in the Bus Lane. Please remember our Holly and Locust Street trail is open for students to walk to school. We have a staff person at the end to help students cross the road and get safely to school! The bell rings at 7:55 a.m. Gates around the campus will be closed at 8:15 a.m.; if you need to pick up a student during the school day, please ring the intercom at the far left front gate. For safety in the afternoon, cars are not allowed in the parking lot after 2:40 p.m. until the buses leave, and remember you can not park in the red.
Thank you for your time and attention to our Friday Notes; have a wonderful weekend!
Warmly,
Mrs. Duran
BLES Principal
